Sorry all but there will be more dialogue as the Prince continually tries to woo Elenya with his words. Soon I shall be getting into more imagery and description on certain things as well as more new songs.
Elise brought Elenya her robe as she climbed out of the bath of rose petals once again. Elenya couldn’t stop singing she was so happy. Elise put on her robe as she listened to the girl sing.
“The sun is shining every day. Clouds never get in the way for you and me. I’ve known you just a week or two but baby I’m so into you can hardly breathe. If I’m dreaming, please don’t wake me up cause I can’t get enough of what you do.”
“Happy today?” Elise said to her smiling.
“I shall get to see Legolas again. The Prince said that he would bring Legolas to dinner if I came.”
“Well that is special indeed. Then I shall do your hair beautifully for the event.”
“You don’t have to really.”
“But I wish to.”
“Let us pick out your dress shall we?”
Elise went to the closet, looked a little and then took out a beautiful one. Elenya liked the choice. The dark blue dress fell slightly beneath her shoulders and shined like pure silk and felt like it too. Elenya fastened Varda’s necklace around her neck.
“Tis a beautiful jewel,” Elise nodded.
“Yes. It was a gift from Varda.”
Elise laughed. “Ahh the stories you tell. But if she were to give it to anyone, it should be you for you are indeed worthy of its beauty.”
Elenya said nothing.
“Now let us see what we should do with your hair. I have the perfect thing. Close your eyes my dear.”
Elenya obeyed. It was about ten minutes when she opened them again. She smiled and liked the way it looked. Elise had braided about half of her hair placing it in a bun but left the other half falling below her shoulders. She had braided a few of the falling strands as well. Before Elenya stood up, Elise stuck a few blue flowers into her hair and fixed a white jewel bound by a chain around her forehead.
“Would you like me to accompany you?”
“No that’s ok. You can leave.”
“Goodnight. I shall see you tomorrow.”
Elenya made her way through the courtyard. The stars seemed to shine with a bright radiance on this night. She was escorted into the great hall where a table was prepared. The doors closed behind her, and she neared it. The Prince stood at the head of the chair grinning happily at her presence. He walked over to her and took her hand raising it to his lips.
“You look like a star,” he said.
“Where is Legolas?” she asked.
“Oh I apologize. He wasn’t able to join us tonight.”
“WHAT!?” she felt like punching him.
Instead, she turned and fled to the doors. Two guards blocked her way with spears.
“Let me pass!” she said to them roughly.
“I apologize, Elenya,” the Prince said touching her shoulders.
She turned and raised her hand to strike him. He caught her fist.
“Your apology is not accepted you moron!” she yelled.
“Sit,” he said firmly.
“Not a chance buster!” she said defiantly.
“Do it or I will make you. You shall eat with me or not eat at all.”
“Fine with me,” she folded her hands across her chest. “Oh!” she ripped off the white jewel on her forehead throwing it to the floor finding it irritating.
He took her by the arms. This time, she did manage to hit him upon the face. Her nails scratched against his mouth. He touched his lip feeling blood.
“What is wrong with you?” the Prince asked.
“Maybe you should ask yourself that question.”
He grabbed her arms while she struggled. He forced her into the chair. As the Prince held her arms to the chair, she felt a rope being wrapped around her waist.
“No!” she said defiantly.
“I apologize Elenya. But I am as stubborn as you are.”
Now the tears came. She felt helpless, and she hated it.
“You can’t do this to me!” she said in between tears.
“I am not doing anything to you. You are doing it to yourself. If you cooperate, things will go better for you.”
“Get away from me,” but she knew it was an empty threat.
He stroked her cheek feeling her tears.
“I am sorry I have to do this. But you are far too upset now. I fear you will hurt yourself.”
She looked seeing a guard approach her out of the corner of her eye. He carried something in his hand. It was one of the darts she had seen earlier. She began struggling wildly.
“NO! Get away from me! Don’t,” she said as the guard drew near.
The Prince held her hands firmly on the chair. The guard took the dart and stuck it into her right arm.
“No please,” she cried out in pain as darkness enveloped her. She looked up at the Prince in fury as she succumbed to a deep sleep.
She awoke lying upon a soft bed. She discovered her hands were bound in front of her. The room was dark. It must still be night or early in the morning she thought. She was in a room much like hers, but it was different. She stiffened when she heard the soft breathing of another in her room.
“I apologize. I feared you would get hurt.”
“Get out!” she ordered recognizing the Prince’s voice.
“I take orders from no one. Remember that,” he said firmly standing up from his chair. She moved up further against the bed as he drew near. He cupped her chin in his hand and looked her in the eye.
“Soon you will see that you can’t escape me Elenya. All of them have tried and have failed.”
“I am different.”
“We shall see.”
He connected his lips with hers briefly and stood up. He took a knife and cut her ropes. As he issued out of the room, he said, “From now on, if you don’t eat with me, then you don’t eat at all.”
“I hardly think you will want your precious prize you desire to die of hunger.”
“It is a powerful motivator too. Wait and see.”
