Celeborn’s Lament – A Lamet for Galadriel

by Aug 31, 2004Stories

The lovely boughs that never sway
Roofs of houses that don’t decay
The trees that reach into the sky
A place seen naught by evil eye
A gap that ever fills my heart
For the time came she did depart.

Looking at elven workmanship
My heart feels beaten as if by a whip
My dear one went to Havens free
Then she went on to cross the sea
Galadriel farewell has bade
And Lorien’s beauty shall fade.
