As my friend and I anxiously awaited the start of TTT, I hoped that PJ would keep it true to the book. I watched in awe at the cinematics and all the stunts, but as the movie came to a close, I couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed. No Shelob?! I have to wait a whole year again to see her! And what was up with the Elves at Helm’s Deep? The whole point of Tolkien’s work was to point out that the Elves were fading, and having them at Helm’s Deep totally destroyed that thought. Either way, the movie was great, and I really enjoyed it, I just didn’t like some of the changes that PJ made. Still a must-see though!
