ROTK is the best movie of the trilogy in my opinion. The battles in this movie are unparalled in any other movies that i have seen. And what about Minas Tirith, how awesome was that, Peter Jackson did a great job recreating that city from the book. i know everyone draws up their own personal mental picture of Minas Tirith when they read Tolkien’s description of it, but that was about as close as someone could come to a common ground on what everybody invisioned. Another thing i commend Peter Jackson and the others involved in this film on is the way for the most part they stayed true to the books, most of the time when a filmmaker takes a book to make a film they slaughter the book just to make a blockbuster. JAckson did that while still staying true to Tolkien’s writings.
