While I enjoyed the movie far more than the book, I found many differences. Starting, why did they finish it before the book ends? Shelob is a big event in the intro into the third book. Another, wasn’t it Pippin and Merry that told Faramir about Boromir? Another yet, Shadowfax wore no tack in the book, he wouldn’t allow it. In the movie you can clearly see the outline of saddle and reins on the horse. Did anyone else catch any of these or others?
