Yavanna – Giver of Fruits – Sixth of 15 poems of the Valar

by May 14, 2004Poetry

Yavanna,
Giver of fruits,
Queen of Earth,
Made unto the world,
At the beginning of Earth’s birth.

Kementari, Kementari,
Province of all life,
Bearing the fruits so,
As you pass through the light.

Eru made you,
And so you shall be concieved,
To stop Hell from destroying,
To stop Melkor and his evil deeds.

Spouse of Aule,
Your sister Vana,
Flowers open at her passing,
The sun is her sauna.
