What a Wonderful Curse – Louis Armstrong Style

It’s a Wonderful Curse
(From: It’s a Wonderful World)

I see a band of gold
Black thoughts too
I hear it calling
To me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful curse

I see kingdoms crumble
And people in fright
The destruction of land
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful curse

The colors of the Precious
Shine brighter than the sky
And I see the jealousy
On people going by
It grows heavier and heavier
Sayin What will you do?
What I want to say is
I desire you

But they’re always calling
Trying to take it from me
The Precious is mine
So why won’t they let it be?

And I think to myself
What a wonderful curse
Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful curse
