Wandering – The Horizon

by Sep 7, 2002Poetry

The Horizon calls my name. An endless longing cry, beconning me to come to her. So I wander. I wander in search of the horizon. Always I can see it. But never can I reach it. Over countless miles, and endless journeys I have come. But I cannot rest. My only home is the road. My only love is the horizon. My only friend, the journey. And though have been beaten by the road, and it has taken all else but, it, itself away from me. I love the road. So may I never leave the road, until the Middle-earth should fade away. — The words of a Ranger
