Waiting – Apoem

by Apr 15, 2003Poetry

As the water twists and turns
And flows along the way
I hold on to your memory
Every passing day
For every setting sun
A brilliant moon replace
And every journey’s path
Shall lead unto this place
A place of brilliant light
From this we find our way
And wait in hopeful mourning
For the coming day
Here, for now, I wait for you
Longing for return
Waiting for eternity
Now, the courts adjourn
Waiting for your glowing smile
Looking for your stare
And in the wind wavering
Is your ruffled hair
Why must you leave me now?
Oh Frodo why now go?
Never to return again
Oh how I miss you so
