Tinuviel – A Poem on the Gains and Pains of Luthien

by Mar 10, 2003Poetry

Never again will you walk the fields of this earth
Luthien raised of elvish birth
Your journey has sadly ened in pain
Now known forever as the Elven Bain
Beren, the mortal, is the love of your life
trapping you now in mortal strife.
The Herlad of Death it speaks your name,
Luthien tinuviel, your spirit is slain.
Fate has grabbed you by the hem
As the eastern sky darkens again.
Luthien Tinuviel who once was
will die because of a mortal’s love.
