Time’s cricumstances

by Apr 1, 2003Poetry

For the orcs were not born
But for the elves,
And the mithril not wrought
In the hidden delves
And the war was ended
That for greed begun
And in the land of Lorien the tale of time is spun.

The sword was not cast
But for the flower,
And the tears were not heard
But for the bower
In the deep forests
And stars were not lit, where is the sun?
And in the land of Lorien the tale of time is spun.

And the sea did not flow
But for the rain,
And joy was not felt
But for the pain
As the sprit did not grow
But for the moon and the night
And in the land of Lorien, is the future bright?
