Tides of Fate – A Poem

by May 24, 2002Poetry

O Fair ones, I seek those who remain.
I seek those who refrain
Refrain from destiny, refrain from the sea
Those Eldar Children of Illuvatar, who call to the trees.
You know who I am
And you know your own desires
Neglect me, and you suffer. You shall fail.
Accept me, and you shall prevail.
Do not encure thy wrath, nor spite
For if you do, no path wilt you tread and no light shall you endure.
I grant you passage to the Undying Lands.
Try as you might, al shall falter in the end.
And all will sail, to the end of Arda.
