The Witch King

by Nov 20, 2003Poetry

Abysmal rider dressed in black
Orc leader, Sauron’s first in command
Fear is spread along his path
The warriors fear his fierce attack

In mindless rage he leads them on
His presence a hammer on our souls
A bearer of a ring of old
He once was of a noble blood

He failed his test he gave in
He took for his a mighty ring
He was consumed by his dark lord
He now obeys his every word.

A mighty adversary yet he is
No man can slay him as he is
It is so said yet who knows
What it is fate for him bestows.
