The trials of the ring bearer – a song

by Jan 20, 2003Poetry

The wearer of the ring, the luckless halfling,
Who carries burden not destined for him,
Has a voice in his mind to who he should listen,
It says beware, though the ring may glitsten,
Your chance for death has now greatly risen,

The voice is ancient and cold,
The ring is dark and old,
These things do trouble him.
