The thoughts of the fallen – The thoughts of Sauron

by Aug 27, 2003Poetry

I am evil, that fact I won’t deny,
But where did it get me? No star shines in this sky,
And I created power, the Ring to rule them all,
And I was strong to rise again, after such a fall.

Everything they took from me, everything I had,
They took my land, they took my form, indeed it me mad,
But now they are fearing me, again, the foolish men,
Did they think they cast me down to not rise up again?

I’m watching them this moment, in folly lies deceit,
And looking west the kings of men stand guard on weary feet,
Yet in my mind one thing I long for now,
A band of gold I’m searching for somehow.

So fear ye all my riders, and fear my barbaric men,
Rember all my wrath now, is stronger than was then
For I created power, the Ring to rule them all,
And I am growing strong again, the world of men shall fall.
