The Star of Mirkwood

by Mar 9, 2005Poetry

A star resides in the heart of Mirkwood
A being so fair dwells in the dark
A regal prince yet valiant archer
The love of battle lies deep within his heart
A wild soul that none can tame
In blood and war he strides
His bow and knives are close at hand
Yet graceful through the forest he glides
His entire life has been in war
Troubles with the dwarves, Smaug, the Necromancer and goblins
Yet deep inside his wild soul
A regal heart beats within
