The return of the King

by Apr 12, 2004Poetry

The ring was destroyed
The world was safe again
The ring caused no more war,
Anger, hate or pain

The companions went home
Never loosing touch
But is no wonder they didn’t
Going through so much

Legolas and Gimli stayed friends
Frodo and the hobbits went to gloat
Aragorn went to Arwen
And Bilbo left on a boat

Aragorn gained his crown
Lived happily knowing he didn’t fail
So we can easily say
There is a happy ending to this tale.

So it was the end of the story
The end of the ring
So I know I can say
It really was the return of the King!
