The Ranger Men – How were they seen by the others?

by Apr 18, 2003Poetry

It was dark that day
No daylight shone
Upon that long lost way
And in the morn the heather lay
Upon the road side’s grass.

And there they walked
The Ranger men
Clad in black they stalked
Upon the misty ground of talked
Rumour of the East set lands.

And in the dawn
The shadows of drab dark passed
And I believe these Ranger men
Are not all as the seem.
