The Loss – A sad poem of the feelings of Estel

by Sep 15, 2003Poetry

Where love once lay, darkness over came. Consuming and deceiving it was. Never did she stay to watch the sun’s first ray’s, nor feel it’s warmth apoun her face. But the chill of the night as the sun faded away circled about her.

Lost and alone in her heart, and not one could brake the icy bondes. Her soul slept deep inside, in the cold, her spirit sank within. No pain nor suffering could wake her inside, a prisoner of bondage was she.

But she felt the loss of that which she missed in everything about her. She wept, facing the end alone. She was lost… and never would go home.
