The House of Elwe Shall Never Die – Eluchil defends his alliance against those who say it shall be destroyed.

by Feb 8, 2001Poetry

In Doriath,
In Rivendell,
Wherever folk of Elwe dwell.

Some sing, some dance,
Some rule most wise
And search the patterns of the skies

But each, and each,
Is fair as fair,
And dark as shadow is their hair.

Their feet are light
As bird on wing,
Their laughter lighter than the spring.

And now who says
That they shall fall
And not at last stand though it all?

We shall not ever
Conquered be,
Unless the land slip into sea.
