Into the mist, a fading ship
Departs upon the Sea
And from this journey, from this trip,
Naught will return to be
Once more among the dying day
Upon this land of grief;
But they’ll forever live away
From where their time was brief.
Many that dwell there know of lands
Where they once used to be
Yet those that look far from those strands
Know naught beyond the Sea.
And memories stretch ever far,
Though they are weak and frail,
Of those that, like a fading star
Departed on that sail.
