The Fallen One – An ode to Melkor

by Nov 7, 2003Poetry

The music rising, falling deep
Their voices loud in heavens weep
For he has left their choirs in pain
The Valar scream his name in vain

Melkor is gone he’s left our halls
In middle Earth he now is lost
He’ll build a place where he can stay
He’ll see it done Eru will pay

He stole from me this chance to be
A higher one to rule supreme
He wants to rule he will not hear
My words my song my bloody tears

As now I stand I take this oath
I’ll kill the firsborn that I loathe
Eru will see his bloody crime
And ruler I, will be in time
