The Fair Maiden – –A poem

by Jan 13, 2005Poetry

She seems so cold and distant
And yet I love her still
She stares into the distance
As I watch from the shadows
I dare not approach
For she is in another world
Tears stream silently down her face
She notices me not
Yet I love her from afar.
