The death of King Theoden – A poem of his last battle

by Mar 5, 2003Poetry

Riding on his brave steed,
his sword is the only thing he’ll need.
Riding to his last battle,
riding proudly on Snowmane’s saddle.
Slaughtering orcs here and there,
before leaving he polished his sword with care.
Then he was confronted by nazgul on a winged horse,
Nothing can be done let fate take it’s course.
snowmane reared and killed the brave King,
It was such a horrible thing.

He begain the battle riding on his brave steed,
His sword was the only thing he would need.
He began, Riding to his last battle,
Riding on snowmane’s saddle.
He ended the battle, riding his brave stead,
his sword was the only thing he would need.
He ended, riding to his last battle,
Riding on Snowmane’s saddle.

The whole of Rohan mourned that night,
Though the stars shined bright.
Saying farewell to Theoden, King of Rohan.

Sorry if it wasn’t a nazgul on a winged horse but
close enough right?
