The Call of the Ring (Isildur’s Bane)

by Oct 22, 2003Poetry

In darkest nights
Where there’s no lights
I hear its voice
I make my choice

This ring is mine
It came to me
I want to keep it
I want it be

Do not destroy this
Don’t see it hurt
You see within it
You know its true
The ring has some of you now too

And every time we had to part
I felt its power within my heart
You could have been a better one
You could have ruled this scarred land

So now I face the fiery maw
I make my choice I call a draw
This Ring forever will be mine
My heirs will take it in their time
