The Battle of Helm’s Deep

by Dec 2, 2004Poetry

A crack of thunder roars in the distance
Worried are some minds, that they need more assistance
Are they up against what they should not face?
Though it’s too late now, for they are here, and evil is the race.

Bow bent, sword held.
In the end, will the enemy be felled?
Thoughts end, hope is grasped,
Now time to carry out the task.

Lightning strikes, rain starts to fall
The heart that bests is striving to pump strong
A love for what they all seek,
The battle begins, and havoc reeks.
