Tears – A poem of deepest sorrow

by Jul 17, 2003Poetry

Tears fall,
Leaving an endless pool.
An ocean of blue and grey,
In my eyes reflecting the same.
Tears of sadness and grief,
Fall like an Autumn leaf;
Tears of anger and pain,
Fall endlessly like November rain.
My eyes and tears are like the Winter sky;
With clouds of white that pass us by,
Grey and blue like the sea,
That tosses and dances freely.
My tears drop into the sea;
Leaving an island: me.
