Soul eternal – Lament

by Feb 18, 2004Poetry

Wonder not of ages past
Of ships that sailed,
And turned their back

For all there s time when time will stop
And all will leave to a distant shore

Undying lands you may not see
Your soul will be forever free
A horse in fields of evergreen
A leaf’s dance in howling winds

Among the stars that crown the night
I see your light forever bright
Of changing ages and turning years
Never think of wasted tears
Worry not of endless fears

In eternal spring you shall be found
Rest your limbs under quiet mound
Nibrethil will crown your head
As you lie in your silent bed.
