Sorrow

by Aug 13, 2004Poetry

In the secrecy of the night silently light a candle
For the fading of a love so sweet
Of a love so beautiful and complete
Its mournful flame from afar will be seen
Unveiling the shadow from a sleep so serene
Beneath the secrets of a moonlit sky
In honor and glory the King shall lie
In beauty and grace of a tale untold
The Queen shall abide amongst tears so cold
Until the day arrives and the hour is late
When all shall embrace their fate
The world we know will have gone
Bringing a never before seen dawn
Fulfilling the most desperate plea
For their souls will again meet and forever be free
