Song of the stars

by May 5, 2004Poetry

Can you hear them?
Singing to us
If you listen hard enough
You may just hear the
Song of the stars

Through your silence comes
The music of above
Their song so haunting
Filling the air
Satisfying your soul

Voices falling, Clarity indeed
Is found in the song of the stars

Eärendil sparkles in time,
With their enduring tune
Eternity cannot silence them
They will be here forever
When all are gone, but us
When only a mere memory
Of them lingers

Voices falling, Clarity indeed
Is found in the song of the stars

They will be here,
When time ends
Then starts again
A paradox of the universe
We being gifted and infinite
Shall not compare to the light
Song of the stars

In a world of stardust
With a silver cascade
Voices are falling, Clarity indeed
Is found in the song of the stars
