Shirefolk – A Poem about (surprise surprise) hobbits.

Shirefolk

In the Shire they do dwell
The little folk, unknown past Rivendell
Content to ignore and be ignored
They live in peace behind their doors
They’re fond of food and some of ale
They won’t say no to a good tale
But where their hearts will always be
Is in peace, quiet, and simplicity.
