Poem of Suspense – A Poem, okay?

by Nov 9, 2003Poetry

The Shadows of Mordor fall upon the land
One hope with one ring in hand
Should he fail, all will be lost
But he has roots unreached by the frost
A friend to help carry the load
And one who is truely a foe
A journey that is a nightmare
With a eye watching aflare
A final struggle; the last fight
A war against the dark of night
Only a moment more to go
It all depends on Frodo
Shall he cast the ring into the fire
Or shall he keep it for his own desire
Or is something else instored for the ring
I guess you’ll see in The Return of the King.
