Pippin’s Patience – A Poem

by Aug 8, 2002Poetry

I am all alone
Why did I ever look into that ball?
I never again want to see what I saw
I miss my hobbit friend Merry

Will I ever see him again?
I have now sworn allegiance to Denethor
How is he?
Where is Merry?

Will we ever be able to meet again?
I know we will
I hope though it’s sooner than later
I will wait
