On This Winding Roadway

by Feb 11, 2004Poetry

On this winding roadway,
I know not to were it leads us.

On this winding roadway,
You stand by my side,
Never straying far away,

On this winding roadway,
Our friendship never dies.
Through darkness and dismay.

On this winding roadway,
The warmth of your smile is comforting,
And will shine the darkness away.

For on this winding roadway,
You help me with a task that feels will never end,
And help rid me of the evils of this world.
