On I March
by traz~~~

Day by day,
On we march.
But to what end?
These companions to me.
Two, my kinsmen,
Still in their youth.
How could I let them come?
And the others;
Wizard, Warrior,
Nobleman proud.
Prince, Rogue.
But who am I?
I am the least of these.
Even Sam, who would do anything
For me.
Who am I?
Why am I here?
What is this that I bear?
Yet I must bear it.
And to what end?
Maybe my own.
Who am I?
I am the Ringbearer,
So, on I march.
