Of the kindling of the stars – And the thanks of the Firstborn

by Apr 9, 2003Poetry

A sea of stars is set before me,
As a melting midnight hue
And I know that none could not adore thee
For the stars do shine anew.

The nightime deep of etarnal bliss
Is set above the oaken bough
And no flower nor tree could ever miss
The light akindled newly now.

Please, my queen, the star’s new night
We be thee, we who dance this day
That by thy deed of glowing bright
That we may love thee, in every way.

So, Star Queen, Kindler before me
As a melting midnight hue
I know that none could not adore thee;
For the stars do shine anew.
