Never More – Boromir’s Last Words

by Jul 3, 2003Poetry

Never more
Will I see a day
Where the sun shines,
And the trees sway.

Never more
Will I see a world
Where happiness is spread,
And peace is unfurled.

Never more
Will I see a place
With children laughing,
And a Mother’s smiling face.

Never more
Will I see a fight
With angry soldiers,
Massacring the enemy on sight.

Never more
Will I see or live.
I’m dying painfully,
And have nothing left to give.

Never more
Will I see a day
Where the sun shines,
And the trees sway.
