My Love – A poem

by Sep 13, 2002Poetry

Like the sun in my eyes you blind me.
Like the wind on my back you leave me cold.
Like a star in the sky you’ll guide me.
And forever will our love be told.

If love was life and life was love,
Then never would we die.
Instead we’d live forevermore,
United in the sky.

I close my eyes and there you are,
My flower of the dawn.
The elegant angle of my life,
Our love is ever long.

You are my love. You are my light,
And ever will you shine.
Until the end my love will last.
Until the end of time.
