My Kingdom For A Ring – A poem of Denethors deepest thoughts

by Aug 26, 2005Poetry

I am Lord
I am The One
My Kingdom Of Gondor
I sit on It’s highest throne

My will be done, So find me that ring
For the good of the country, for the good of the king
My faithful son dead, my other a wizards pupil.
My city in ruins, my life in pieces

That fool Minthrandir, trying to unseat me
He will pay for his treachery
The rule of Gondor is mine
And no others

I will find the ring, I must find the ring
With every fiber of my being
With it I will claim ultimate power
And the lands before me I will scour
