My Destiny – A poem for the Fellowship

by May 24, 2002Poetry

The life i once knew is gone
I cannot go back
I can only go on
I made the choice too quickly
I did not think enough
Will the choice affect my bravery?
My destiny throbs in my ears
Echoes in my mind
And reflects in my tears
But i must dry my eyes
Strenghthen my heart
And look toward the skies
I can look at my past no more
I must snuff the candle
And close the door.
