Moria, where the dead sleep – By: Nicole Marcil

by Feb 24, 2002Poetry

Gandalf the Grey, a loving wizard and forever remembered.
“Mellon” we say to the great doors of stone,
Inside is where the spirits roam,
The place of seven stars and seven rings,
Moria, the place of Durin a fair king,
Here he lies, still dead, still sleep,
Now it’s where their treasures keep,
And last our leader, Gandalf the Grey,
But it’s in our hearts is where he’ll stay,
Lost to the dreadful Moria,
At the bridge of Khazad-Dum,
You’ll never take him away,
our Gandalf the Grey.
