Mirkwood – An original poem

by Feb 27, 2002Poetry

There is a land called Mirkwood,
Where dark and fare things are.
Spiders, Elves, and other things dwell,
Perhaps it’s safer in Rivendell.
It’s dark and stuffy,
No light comes through.
But remember when you’re there,
That there is more news.
The Woodland Elves will take you in,
Unless you were a dwarf,
Or Orc.
But there hearts a kind,
I should define.
And it’s better to be a perisoner,
Than dinner.
So in conclusion,
I must say,
Mirkwood isn’t that bad a place,
And maybe,
Just maybe,
You even find Legolas.
