Legolas Greenleaf – A poem describing Legolas

by Feb 23, 2003Poetry

Part of the nine who once set out
He takes the quickest and safest route
His eyes are keen, his arrow set,
He can never miss his next target

His hair a glowing sunshine gold,
His strength is great, his courage bold
He is so swift no one can see him
He lights the world when it is dim

Protecting the weak, helping the strong
His rightful mind can never do wrong
When danger is near he whirls around,
And grabs at an arrow which is found

Swiftly stringing it to his bow
Killing all orcs high and low
And then his purpose will be fulfilled
His graceful footsteps will never yield
