Lalaith – daughter of Hurin and Morwen

by Jan 30, 2004Poetry

Urwen daughter of Hurin
Named Lalaith for laughter
Was caught by the black breath of Angband
All thought of her dead
But none knew what Lord Ulmo had said
She is worthy of Gondolin
She will be safe there and useful to them
So she on an eagles back she flew
She there regained her strength
And stayed in the hidden realms
For none were allowed beyond the hidden realms door
She stayed there until the coming of Tuor
And then escorted the people to somewhere secure!
