Isildur’s Plight – This accounts Isildur’s plight since his taking of the ring

by Aug 23, 2004Poetry

Such a precious thing
So beautiful, no one else may touch it
It pulls on my heart, my very soul
As every day wanes.

I shall never harm it, it shall remain my curse
All who follow to me shall feel its pain
I will inflict death to those who wish to take it.
This is my burden, My beautiful burden
My bane
