Imagination – My 200th submission to the reading room!

by Aug 6, 2003Poetry

Lands where once the other stood,
See the mountains, live the flood,
Where ne’er touched the claws of hell,
Deep within a mountain dell.

Silent guidence lends its hand
To a memory from another land,
Where song is ever on the air,
And joy is seen on faces fair.

Sadness too, lays in this place,
Throughout the forests fair of face
Who liveth here and here defend,
Expected stranger, new found friend.

And all the truth that is in this part,
Wise as elf, of hobbit heart
Is a place that still I find
Is a haven to the mind.
