Illuvatar – to tell of Illuvatar

by Jan 27, 2004Poetry

when you charge into battle,
remember me.
when you play with a rattle,
remember me.
when you talk of the cattle,
remember me.

can you feel the wind blowing?
that is me.
can you see the corn growing?
that is me.
can you hear the boat rowing?
that is me.

I am a battle, your rattle, and the cattle.
I am the wind blowing, the corn growing, and the boat rowing.
all of these I am
I am Illuvatar
