Hope Remains

by Jun 29, 2005Poetry

Take my hand, friend!
Do not fall too deep into yourself.

We are far from the End of our Journey,
But the pursuit is swift and treacherous.

Can we make it, you ask?
I don’t know…I fear my strength wanes with the clouds over Your heart.

Under these trees, we shed our tears,
For what can we do against such terrors as Uncertainty and Trembling?

We are small compaired to the world we know little of…
I am frightened…I am lost…

But here you are with me…here we crawl beneath the rigors Of time and expectation…
Do not leave me with my Burdens,
I am not that strong…
Let us be forever bonded by our pain,
So long as hope remains.
