Hope and Darkness – by Everstar

by Nov 5, 2002Poetry

Out of darkness I hear a call
A strength that clutches my breath
A toiled and broken hand reaching out across the land
The caller, the hailer of death.

But hope still prevails
If compony is true
And light will have a final flicker
Before darkness engulfs us good few,

For the strength of love is thicker,
Then the blackness of the deep,
And hope and dreams will always triumph
With death crushed under lights feet.

Shine. Shine. Shine of the Everstar
For the light destroys the dark
Yet the deep holds forever secrets.

But the hailing of the light and the
Bring off new morning,
Will always bring New Hope
And life, with a shine of the Everstar.
