Gollum’s Prey – Smeagol and Gollum

Gollum’s Prey

We have them now,
They cannot escape.
We’ve followed them from afar,
We’ve not long to wait.

They took the precious,
They took it away.
We’ll get it back, though,
They are our prey.

No! Must not hurt Master,
Nice hobbitses, they know best.
They let us go from nasty rope,
They gave us food and let us rest.

Who cares about rest,
Who cares about rope?
They took the Precious,
They took our hope!

You are a fool,
To think they can be trusted.
They’ll turn on us,
Both our necks will be busted!

Master would never hurt us,
As long as we are good.
But do you really think so,
Do you think they really would?

Of course they would,
You are stupid to think not!
They’ll stab us in our sleep,
And leave us to rot!

They took the Precious,
They took it away.
We’ll get it back, though,
They are our prey.
